Best known for her live rock photography and music journalism, Christine is a self-taught artist who began drawing as a young child, going on to learn pen & ink as well as linoleum cutting and printing techniques in her teens. Her affinity for still life, figurative and portraiture has progressed from realism to abstract and minimalism.

In the 90s she focused on a bold style of drawing and inking reminiscent of pop art and manga with hard, dark lines, the subject matter being erotic fetish with an emphasis on translating the slick shine of rubber and latex outfits onto paper. Some of those iconic images were published in the now-defunct underground classic porn magazine Screw and used as illustration in the popular Downtown/East Coast Rocker papers. She painted some of those same images in the live art event Art Around the Park at Thompson Square Park in New York’s Alphabet City section of the Lower East Side.

She was an intern for the internationally known New York artist Mark Kostabi in 1991, sketching proposed ideas for Mark’s paintings in his think tank at his huge multi-floored studio and gallery, Kostabi World.
